I'm looking to build one soon. I'd like to see your sheds for ideas.

    I'm looking at a 16 x 10 with A-frame tin roof.

    Show us what you got.

If you go with a decked and shingle roof you can install a skylight and a turbine vent for summer heat.

I have been thinking about the skylight(s). However, my original plan is for a tin or vinyl roof instead of shingled.

I did go look at them for ideas I admit, but surely I can build it cheaper and of higher quality.

I have a local Mennonite family business building storage building. Also really good customers at my tire shop.

    http://www.baldeaglebarns.com/

You can build cheaper (if you don't count your labor as anything), but NOBODY builds better.

I have (2) 14X36 here at work for tire storage, an 8X12 at home for the Wife's small animal feed from them. Needed a building at home for goat birthing, day old chicks, etc with no floor. So had to build myself. I'd had an old thrown together building we'd used for years on 10"X10"X10' rairoad cross ties, ties were the only thing still good, so I built walls(2X4 on 16" center), used old sliding patio doors turned sideways (free) for windows, local truss co made 6 trusses for approx $150, clear vinyl corrugated sheet roofing, and the Mennonites sold me 4X8 particle board siding (same as they use on their buildings) with blemishes for $15. sheet($38. at Home Depot). Had metal front door and frame we'd replaced on our home. All in all, I built a really nice outbuilding for very little money. SCROUNGING RULES!!!

As an aside, I'll NEVER use a nail again with modern decking screws available.
