The gentleman I bought it off of told me it was a 1964 model. I'm not really up on the Smith and Wesson models I just got started collecting them. I found some books I'm going to order and read up on them. The one that got me started on these was that mod.29 44 mag. non fluted cylinder that I got from Karl Being and the custom Clark PPC in 38special that I bought from him also. Then I bought a 25-2 w/6 1/2" Bbl. 45acp off another forum I belong to and it has never been fired from what I can tell. Then I got the 10-5 38special.

Model 10 also got me interested in the revolvers. It's the direct descendent of 1899 Hand Ejector. I believe it's one of the most popular handgun ever made.
