Mountain guns wear a tapered lightweight barrel and it makes the gun a much lighter packing gun and nicer pointing for me at least. This one has been used and carried some but seemingly shot very very little, Very clean inside, couple little scuffs/dings outside, action is tight and right, comes with original box and PPWK as well as the Hogue wood you see on it.

Excellent revolvers and a nice example Karl.
The “no lock/no MIM” MGs were dandies and hard to source nowadays.
My favorite hunting/packing sixguns.

That -3 is an outstanding example. It has the endurance & accuracy enhancements as well as being drilled & tapped for a scope mount. It's so veryyyyyy tempting.

I think the wood grips look outstanding. This would compliment my 625 Mountain Gun.

I'll have to check the budget and see if the kids really need to eat this month.
