I have an immaculate & unfired NIB SW1911 "Billboard" model for sale. Since this is a collectible model and somewhat rare in NIB condition, I am offering it to the members of this forum for a limited time before offering it elsewhere.

Very nice looking heater.

What makes the billboards collectible? Sorry, just curious.
Probably several things:

  1. The "Billboard" was only made for a short time, so there's only a few. Scarcity makes it collectible.
  2. Another factor is desirability. It's a very nice 1911. IMHO, nicer than the typical production 1911 available today.
  3. Adding to the desirability is that the serial number JRE01xx suggests that it was assembled by the Performance Center, which could explain why it's as nice as it is.
  4. Lastly, it's unfired.

I have a couple of Smith & Wesson 1911's from their Performance Shop and I really like them. Their finish and fit are top notch. GLWS
