Whats the value of a original patina matching ww1 era 1911? I don’t want it to be mint shape by any means but don’t want it beat to hell either. No re blues.
Whats the rough value id have to pay to get one ?

More knowledgeable people than I will be along shortly to answer your question. Having said that, I recently sold an unmolested Colt, that lettered to the AEF in France, for 2,500. It sold very quickly, and there was strong interest at that price point. I also have a Colt with the earlier finish that I've been offered 3,500 for, but won't part with it.

Most are going to be 2500-3000k WW1 or WW2. Of course depending on condition. You will find some cheaper. But this is the range I would recommend shooting for. Pun intended. Also be careful of who you buy from. I have seen a lot of frauds, copies, and mismatch guns. Find a reputable gun dealer. Take your time. I have made many mistakes.

How about arsenal rebuilt WWI M1911? Legit USGI rebuilt still can be had from $1500-$2000.
