I've got cases of this stuff and run it in all my pistols and pcc's because it suppresses so well. Just wonder if anybody has had any issues running through their 1911 or concerns with using it for break in. I've got some 115 WWB on hand too but prefer the 147 pills if I can anticipate no issues. Like to get the new Vigil out this weekend! Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Federal 147 gr works without any feeding problems in my DW 1911's. I don't know if Federal uses Speer heads but I don't think that you should have any issues with it feeding in your Vigil.

I just tried some Speer Lawman 147gr. FMJ. They functioned 100% in my 1911's. I did find them filthy though compared to Freedom 147's & 147gr Fenix Ammo (local MI company). In all fairness they do offer a
"Clean burning" version for more money. I won't buy them again.
