Having to smell that $hit might just put me over the edge. Worked/inspected inside 26” gate valves, ball valves and reactor recirculation pumps in my previous life. Everything was swimming in that stuff. I swear, for radiation and contamination we were in full canister full face masks, full anti cs, full rubber gear with all seams taped up and I could still smell it. It was a hell of a combination. That smell and the feeling like you’re body is just melting away in all that gear is something I’ll never forget. Dosimeter lights were flashing and alarms beeping you thought you were in a disco.

Damn; I guess I’m fortunate that I don’t use that stuff!
I never will again! It’s a penetrating oil . There was a cap on the jar and it penetrated though that onto my bench when it got knocked over . It’s like nano stuff .

Give a can of Sea Foam Deep Creep a try. Auto parts stores have it.
It's a penetrating oil that is not nearly as nasty as Kroil.
All the Best,
Jeffrey

Thanks . I have used the regular sea foam and it really did not do much more than Hoppes . I read on another forum that there was a different sea foam that did better but I couldn’t remember which one .
