Requesting pics and build particulars please for SS or a hard chrome platform

After a complete safe Cleansing/Downsizing, I’m on the hunt for a SS 1911. I parted with my Colt Seris 70 retro build that Evolution Armory built for me a few years ago and am yearning
For a replacement but on a Commander platform, The colt was not sold but gifted to a very close friend and my best man from years ago just a late proper gift.
I’m stuck on a build or purchase liking a NH SS T3, a build would be on a SS colt commander
And trying to get into a builders Q,
A quick thirst quench would be a DW CBob or SS VBob, I guess I’m spoiled with my ACW prime.
Quite some time ago there was a sweet SS or hard chrome Comanche listed by? Harris? Which was with drawn.
Fellow addicts Ideas? Build sheets? Pics? Thank you in advance.

I can turn a pretty sweet V-bob or Valor commander for you into a nice custom.. Great base gun a little more at the front end but well worth it imo.. Or a jem Frame and slide if you wish.. Have several pics and build lists in the forum here. I actually have a V-bob here that's a 2013 Model, I was thinking of listing for a possible build for someone.. If you'd like to talk pm me.. Have pics of the V-bob a 2013 model not sure of round count, but is in really good shape..

Found a Comander, it’s not SS but it’s a 70 best I can figure it dates to 82.
I Made the mistake of shooting it.
Finish, Grips, sights and slide release are not original. It’s a shooter

An update from posting pics yesterday, the first 2 mags at 10 yards Proceeded to clean out the bullseye of my target with no fliers. I put 100 rounds of a combination of Winchester 230 ball service grade, S&B 230 ball and my prefered SD projectiles Factory Winchester 185 Silvertips with no hiccups what so ever. I guess accuracy could be described as pop/malt beverage can MOA at sane ranges for my older eyes. The slide to frame fit is usuall colt not tight not loose, trigger a bit of take up but a nice break, TS clean snick on and off. Barrel bushing fit is good could be better could be worse. Barrel lockup with no spring or Movement. The slide stop appears to be after market? With a slight mod to aid in assembly. There are no sharp edges anywhere not a melt job but a sweet clean break of the sharp edges, also the slide has been lowered and flared. On disassembly at home I did find a shock buff installed
I guess it’s an older style a kinda yellowed/ clear coloring that showed a tad wear but not falling apart. The shop I purchased/traded for it at said the gentlemen they got it from said it had been to Wilson combat for Work? An older gentlemen Retired navy former EOD/etc etc, a kinda eclectic person is what I was told. That and he had been selling off his collection in anticipation of moving in with family
As we all know adding Grips and Rear sight does not qualify but the finish dehorn and slide stop has me thinking maybe? A call after the holidays to try and verify will be warranted.
The plan now is I’m going to shoot it for the next 30 days and send it off for
A little freshening up/ or mild mods and a good look over.
It will definatley get a BTGS, new sights, plus?
Back in the Mid 90s I sold a S70 commander for cash to help with funding a forced move and job relocation this pistol not 100% identical is very close, I can honestly say I am so glad I thinned my safe and was on the hunt for a commander
Can a bond form with just a few rounds down range?

Now you've got your gun you can always have it hard chromed for the look you want. My Krebs Commander was hard chromed by Metaloy about 25 years ago.

    Very nice,
I have thought hard chrome or an NP3 type finish.
