I’m not sure about anyone else but have to admit this site consumes alota my time. I check this at least 15 times a day. Not only that no matter what gun I own it’s never enough. I see one an think yea I need that for carry or for the range or next to my bed. get that an you see or hear about something else an start thinking maybe I need that instead. No I will just mod this one to the way I like. Start modding then decide you shoulda bought the other. Then something else comes along that would make a great range gun or a different caliber. Buy that.. 3 months later new model comes out wow! I gotta have that. Oh damn that’s a deal that would make a great base gun for a build. I’ll sell this to get that.. It’s seriously an addiction always chasing that first high it never ends. Then you have this damn site. I’m never satisfied. I just wish one of the big smiths or all would just have cameras running in the shop so I can watch them work on guns too.

Do you reload? That would consume more of your time and money and prove to be a modest respite from this forum.

Well that is step 1 of the 12 step program.

There are far more expensive hobbies out there.. As long as your taking care of the household and the family. Its good.

Yes I have considered the reloading. I think I’d loose the wife with another. I stocked up on bullets a year or so ago and started looking into reloading but talked my self out of it as I know I would turn into a mad scientist trying to perfect the perfect bullet which would just bring me back to having a perfect gun to shoot them. And could cause even more problems. I truly love 1911s and wish I could just be a real gunsmith lol

If you are only checking this site 15 times a day then you are missing a lot. 30 checks a day minimum is required.

Yesterday I missed a deal by one minute on a holster I don’t really need because I made the mistake of trying to work instead of staying vigilant on the classifieds.

    Just here to help.

Yea 15 was a short estimate. I really prob check the site 50 or more it’s bad and yes I saw that holster as well lol you def have to be willing to make a snap decision on this site fast lol and not miss it

Sometime this year I'll reach that point where if I don't have the purrrfect 1911 for whatever mood I'm in, it's not for lack of trying. Well, maybe sometime next year.
