Just a PSA. Stealth Arms is recalling Platypus models shipped between 6/23/25 and 8/26/25. You'll likely get an email or a call from where you bought it. Apparently there is an issue with a batch of sears.
The shop I bought mine from called a couple of days ago to arrange for their gunsmith to install the new part. After chatting a bit he agreed to give me the sear to install myself. I thought that was good service all around.
I did a little google-fu and it seems they will send you the part, or you can send your gun in to have it swapped.
Good on Stealth for taking care of business. There is a place on their site where you can input S/N to see if yours is subject to the recall.
