I had @Steve Owens bead blast my Specialist and it looks brand new, much brighter than before! Steve is a great guy to work with, and really knows his stuff! Anybody looking for a gunsmith needs to contact Steve!

**Note - this beautiful pistol may be going for sale soon. I have decisions to make... Lol

Pistol looks spectacular. Steve Owens is a good man, Of course I don't know any of you personally, but to visit with him, its like I've known him years. Maybe he needs to blast my PM-C. I dislike the brushed flats. Had thought I'd have DW duty treat, but that's expensive stuff.
Congratulations, you're on a role and truly "addicted 2gunz"

    Looks great!

My advice: hang on to it. Then, when Steve is sipping Martinis with the likes of Les Baer, Bill Wilson, and Ed Brown, you can sell it for double what you paid.

Thank you gentleman for your kind words, I will say this whoever ends up with that specialist is ending up with a special one that is for sure. That gun is a very fit specimen and shoots like a bullseye gun.. I was very impressed with nearly everything about this pistol aside from the finish one of the best I've witnessed in a factory pistol.

Wow this gun impresses me... A few "off" shots during rapid fire, my fault guaranteed. -This gun is accurate! I want to sell it, but yet I want to keep it... argh!!!!!

Well, I can help with that decision...

You'd be a FOOL to get rid of that gun!

Now I just happen to know that you have a perfectly standard, run of the mill Valkyrie CCO that you should really just get rid of...:)

I noticed with my PM-C they get beat up if you look at them too hard with your eyes. I found this to be an issue with ALL Dan Wesson stainless steel finished 1911's that I owned - (PM-C, Silverback, PM-38). Not so with any stainless finished gun I have had from Wilson, Nighthawk, and Ed Brown. Maybe its the grade of steel or something, but after 1,500 rounds, my PM-C looked like I had dragged it behind my truck for a mile.
I would either send it to Steve for an annual re-beading, or send it to Bob at Nighthawk for a $600 DLC and call it done.
I would never get another stainless finished gun from Dan Wesson. Their Duty treat however, is probably the best Melonite/nitride there is.
