STI Ranger II

    So I've started a search for a new 1911. My budget dictates the contenders, and my preferences filter that down some, so it's come down to Colt or STI, specifically the Ranger II in .45 ACP. I'm looking your your thoughts on this 1911. Thanks for your feedback.

    I have the STI Guardian , Basically the same set up just a little smaller. Very tight out of the box gun, excellent shooter. Have had zero problems with it, feeds everything that I have put through it. IMHO STI builds some of the better production guns on the market.

    I've been wanting one in .40 for awhile. I like them. :thumb:
