I've had this for a little while, ordered the VZ grips right after I got it. ETC, G10 Black Desert Sand. I think they really work well with the two tone finish. They are the slim line, obviously bob-tail cut, with the bottom given the traditional bevel. I really like this pistol, and the grips.

Looks good in desert sand. Here's mine with Raasco Midnight ebony.
I also changed the full length guide rod for a Ed Brown GI set up. Installed a E.B. single side thumb safety last night.( pic's a week old).
Ordered a 10-8 rear sight today.

Very nice. I'm considering the 10-8 rear sight as well. Any idea if the XS small dot night sight would work with this? Just curious, as I get older I find the front sight harder to pick up, and the larger white outline helps.

I hear ya. I'm not sure about the xs sights. My favorite set up is a 10-8 rear and a gold bead front.
I have old man eyes and it works great on my other guns.
