Does anyone have experience with these sights, or ones like it. This is a brand new to me. The thought seems pretty legit. A pre made FO insert, held in with a set screw. Seems fairly solid/stable. No more burning, singeing, or cloudy FO rods.

Ive had a few rods go flying over the years, this looks promising at a minimum. With alot of open space for light transfer. I could care less about their rear sight. Pic is of their front sight rods kit, to visualize how the rods are cut.

The idea is unique but having to buy replacement rods from them only due the 'machined lens' could be expensive. Update us if you go this route.

I misspoke, their replacement rods and optional retaining fasteners isn't unreasonable.

Wish they offered options for width and notch size, which means I'm sticking with Dawsons. But at least they actually have separate listings for calibers and barrel lengths of 1911, unlike Trijicon and Tru glo- a Trijicon rep tried to tell me the same "Novak cut" 1911 sights worked the on a 5 inch .45 and a commander 9mm for POA/POI. Quick, pull my other leg.....

So the new kimber 2k11 uses this system and I think it’s amazing!
