Budweiser and GE have teamed up in advertisements. uke:
I remember the days when you couldn't hardly get Coors on the east coast.
Unless it was in a cooler in the back of the truck.
God,that was sometime ago!
Now I feel even older !
(or maybe it was that last beer I had last night ! :biggrin1: )
I do too sometimes....
I remember Extra Gold....
The Silver Bullet is the best.
Coors light is my buddies only beer.
When I drank it was my summer beer. Now there is only water in the man cave fridge.
No more Budweiser products for me. I also try to boycott anything GE, which is hard to do, as they have their hands in many products. But I haven't bought a GE light bulb in several years.
I'll take none of the above thank you... I much prefer my home brews!
I'm not following something here. Why the boycott of GE/Budweiser?
I don't know about GE. Budweiser however, because, well............
I dont drink Coors or Bud. They both suck along with every other major american brewery. Y'all have been brainwashed into thinking real beer is made by one of the major three companies here. They found the cheapest ingredients possible to still produce alcohol and advertised the **** out of it until everyone bought it. (kind of like Kimber)It could be compared the 1911 world. Ria, Colt, SA, DW, Baer, Brown, Wilson. etc... They all will shoot bullets but some just do it nicer and feel better when doing so. I know all the beer will make me drunk but I want it to taste good and not give me a hangover after consuming. Did I mention I wanted it to taste good? When I brew, everything is hands on. I manipulate every part of the brew process. I cut open the bags of barley and wheat myself and weigh them out. I mash it, boil it, and pitch yeast all myself. No automation or malt extracts. I weigh out the hops myself and add them to the boil by hand. Theres something to say about a gun being hand fit and massaged together by a person. Theres an art to it and it makes me appreciate the gun more. More later...
Is there a such thing as a beer that doesn't leave a hangover?
A friend of mine years ago Jake worked at Epcot Center in Disney World at the UK (England) beer both. A woman came up and asked him what was the closest thing he had in a beer to match American light beer. His answer was tap water. She got pissed and raised hell and he lost his job. LOL
Any beer will leave a hangover if drank in excess. But barley extracted amylase leaves less of a hangover than corn or rice. Thats why bourbon gives such a horrible hangover vs. scotch.
That right there is priceless:lol: Too bad he lost his job for speaking the truth.
GE had to do something to wash out the bad taste of having to buy 50,000 Chevy Volts for this "Administration". Maybe they will be doing some DD Crash studies...
Love coors! Red beers all night long!
On a side note the Coors factory tour is pretty cool, and they give you free beer. If you are ever in the area I recommend it.
