A 1944 Underwood M1 Carbine. Shoots nicely. Stock was refinished...don't like that, but it is a shooter not a collector piece. Mechanicals are very good. Time and ammo will tell.

Jim Cirrilo, NYPD Stake out squad, found the 30 M1 carbine with soft points,
to be a definitive fight stopper.
They are light and short and look a lot less intimidating than a black AR15.

Somewhere, boxed up in pieces, I have a Universal. It's a beater being a Universal. I disassembled it for a rebluing project. And so it sits .....unfinished.

Someone had a Pre 64 Winchester for sale nearby but money is tight. Wife is taking me to CMP Store North when they finish moving for MAYBE an M1 Garand.
So many guns. So little money. Anyone hiring?
