I think that most of us would be forced to take someone's word for it since it's not so easy to get your hands on a Singer to inspect it for yourself.
Cabot are custom/semi-custom.Surely it would be a Cabot, right? If it's weird, gaudy and priced astronomically high, surely that would make it the holg grail.
They are better built than Colt and even some of new 1911s. They are smooth. The parts were fit together nicely. The bluing finish is outstanding and held better than other bluing. I had the pleasure to hold one couple of years ago .....it's not mine and I might never see it again ...but it's the Holy Grail ......No they’re just rare.
OtherwiseSingers by far are the best built, finished, quality and the most expensive production 1911s ever made! Tell me otherwise?
Better built than Colt doesn't seem to be an especially high bar these days, to be fair. They are better built than Colt and even some of new 1911s. They are smooth. Well, that tells me you have never handled a Pre-War Commercial Colt National Match or Super MatchSingers by far are the best built, finished, quality and the most expensive production 1911s ever made! Tell me otherwise?
No, I didn't. But every one handled the Singers agreed they are the best, like a sewing machine!Well, that tells me you have never handled a Pre-War Commercial Colt National Match or Super Match
Not even close. They had a nice finish for a wartime pistol as they were an "Educational Run" but they are not finished as well as a commercial, pre war Colt-especially an ACE, Super Match or National Match. Not even close..No, I didn't. But every one handled the Singers agreed they are the best, like a sewing machine!
