So of course 3 months after I move to AZ, the state elects a pretty liberal senator. I mean really?
Everyone is so fudgeing wrapped around the axle about this horde of people moving north that they've lost sight of the real threat to the US.
If AZ citizens stepped back and looked at it my way, we'd probably clear **** up in about a week.
So, illegals are coming across the boarder every day. They are taking the crap jobs, making pennies on the dollar and pretty much keeping to themselves. Are there some MS13 members crossing over? Sure, but for every MS13 illegal, I'll show you 1,000 natural born US shitheels who are rapists, murderers, and so on.
Now, what no one is really watching are the liberals moving east from CA and north. They have so fuccked up their state with entitlements that no one can afford to live there anymore. So, they cross over into AZ, infect the state like a cancer, and vote in the same type of people that ruined the state they are leaving. But no, Fox News says we have to worry about the horde. Fucck the horde, worry about the voting asshats from Kalifornia that are now ruining a perfectly good state that was operating just fine on its own.
How do you stop them? Dunno, maybe you have a ProLife shirt give away; make Atlas Shrugged mandatory reading each year starting in 3rd grade; or some other activity that makes libs itchy and bitchy.
    Goddamn it.

The demographics may get us eventually . Baby boomers and other seniors are dying off . There are now generations that think they're entitled to handouts . Dems keep promising free stuff . Young people are being influenced by this and educators espousing socialism . They have to go along to get their degree . And , you can't tell American citizens what state they can or can't move to .

Is Arizona really heading left? It was on my short list for my next step West (I am in Texas presently).

I consider my town a microcosm of the country . I moved here from St.Louis in 1985 . It was a nice small town , good school , no real crime . I hoped it would never change . It was great for about 17 years . Then developers started buying up farms and putting in subdivisions . Sometimes using imminent domain law to get what they wanted . Needless to say things changed for the worse . Crime and congestion . Then came the Ferguson effect . My town is starting to look like North Co. St.Louis . More crime , congestion . Now a heroin problem . The people that moved here ten years ago now make up the majority . I only see it getting worse .

Can’t tell them where to move to, but can try to make it unattractive. State constitutions can have amendments added that greatly control entitlements and gerrymandering to make sure libs can’t redraw districts giving them controls of areas heavily populated with historically blue voters. Heavy progun regs with airtight preemption verbiage. It can be done and would work

I moved to Arizona 14 years ago, When I first arrived there were a lot of illegals with 5,6,7 and 8 kids. Now most of them were born here with voting rights, so here we are 14 years later and guess how those voting citizens of the Illegals are voting. I guess this last election just proved that point. We also need to look at the Kalifornia crowd, but this horde coming from the south is a real problem now and in the near future, probably about 18 or 19 years from now when the anchor babies get to vote. Also the Dems are already threatening out guns, Pelosi is on the war path right now.

Unfortunately it looks that way. Things have gotten a lot worse since we got here 12 years ago. Fortunately, (for us) I plan on retiring in about 5 more years. Hope we can last that long. Already working on our 5 year escape plan.

Don’t move here; we’re a state with a guaranteed path to socialism. The US is right behind us unless there are massive changes made. Forget about the Constitution; remember Obama’s speech, which in part contained his belief that the Constitution should be a “ document...” subject to change.
As far as moving destinations, there are very few remaining.

I have been a resident of the Great State of Arizona for 42 years. The political system managed itself pretty well up until about 2-3 years ago when both of our Senators went rouge. "They" just elected the first woman ever and the first Democrat in 30 years to the US Senate.
My question is @radshooter , you say you have an escape plan. Escape to where?

    Apr 5, 2015
Mike, you are correct. Eventually, the numbers of voting Democrats will overcome the common sense and patriotism and it will all be over......unless......there is NOT an orderly transition of power in 2020, especially if POTUS runs again and gets reelected. I am concerned that there will be a total meltdown and likely thr declaration of martial law and perhaps even another civil war. I know people think this is kooky...but imagine a stock market crash, the possibility of a Demo candidate losing but not conceding and wholesale chaos in the streets of DC.

NM Buzz and I need all of you guys to move to NM and we can change the demographic.....we just unfortunately elected a Pelosi butt licking, Soros paid Demagogue Democrap for Governor who had screwed up the states medical insurance pool so bad that half of the underwriting companies left. And now she is Gov. Guaranteed to start "fixing the gun laws" in a state where LEO response in rural areas can hour. I am already getting medical licenses in NV and Utah. I am I love NM.

All that is just a symptom of the illness, not the illness itself. The Libs keep making it easier for illegal alien (undocumented Democrats) to become citizens through anchor babies. The newly minted citizens then feel compelled to vote for the party that ‘championed’ them. When you come down with the flu, you don’t blame the aches and chills- you blame the flu virus itself. All the painful shiit associated with the virus is just the unfortunate symptom of the overall sickness.
Liberal mentality and voting is the sickness. Get rid of that and all this stuff goes away. Not overnight but eventually.

I've been in AZ since 2000 and while I'm surprised we have a democratic senator I blame the right for putting a shitty candidate like McSally up. I mean, besides being an airforce pilot, who the hell was she ? I've had interns form ASU for years. they are always from somewhere else (usually a liberal, cold state) and want to stay here, and do.

I just read a research paper and it stated what is written above. With the exodus out of the pacific Northwest and California -- Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and Texas will be blue in 10 years and are probably purple today.

What can be done, sadly nothing. Conservative values are out as most young people can't relate. They have become convinced the left is "young, compassionate and accepting" and the right is "old, mean and racist". Perception is 80% of the story folks.

See you in Montana or Idaho in 10 years ;)

Nothing New. Take a look at NC, SC, GA, FLA etc. We have been getting Libs from NJ, NY, PA etc. They ruin there state & then move bringing their Socialist ways with them. Look at NC new Socialist Governor.

Demography is destiny friends! Kalifornia is proof, and so is my state of CO! The liberal indoctrination from K - 12th grade and beyond and the dominant, liberal establishment, mass media seem to be insurmountable forces. The wife and I and my 2 kids ae the only conservatives in a very large family and to listen to the garbage they believe is disheartening. And when I suggest more objective sources for their news they don't even want to look or read any of it! Which I think is indicative of most liberals. They are very close minded!

Right now the plan is to head back to the farm I grew up on in Kansas. The way this country is headed, I think we are only postponing the inevitable though. Hoping we can buy another 10 or 20 years before tshtf. Haven't heard too many bad things about Kansas. Decent gun laws at least. Mom and Dad seem to think it is ok so far.

I was just having this conversation at work and I really believe they will win eventually, real problem is how long can we hold them back, I don’t think long enough for enough people to come to their senses!
Too many morons to overcome with common sense. Like I told my buddy Chris (he’s one of us big time) you cannot overcome the offer of free **** over hard work, self responsibility and taking care of yourself!

I see two options down the road, let them win (eventually) or another civil war!
