    OK guys,
    Here's the $64.000 question!

Scenario: You're stranded on a island for life. And now you'll have to live of the land. Let's say you'll have ammo for the rest of your life available, but no cleaning equipment, tools or spareparts available for gun.

Which handgun would you choose given that option. Make one choice for both a pistol and a revolver..............

Pistol = GCI Model 2 with 45ACP conversion. Just because I always wanted that model.
    Revolver = S&W 625 in 45ACP. Heard it is a great shooter.

These will avoid the headache of trying to carry two different types of ammo.

    Pistol: HK45
    Revolver : Any S&W 45ACP revolver.

I have owned a Thunder Ranch 22-4 as well as a 25-2 and both were GREAT guns.

No cleaning allowed, my choice would then be a Glock...

    Excellent question Jess!

I generally don't post along with the fantasy type questions but I like this one.:thumb:

For my auto choice it would be this baby:
LongSlide .45 by SACS on a Les Baer frame & slide w/Wilson Combat barrel,Ed Brown MSH,Wilson Combat BulletProof BTGS,standard carry bevel, etc.

    For my RoundGun choice:

A Ruger SuperBlackhawk Bisley Hunter .41 Mag.

Even though the lifetime supply of ammo would be enticing, I'm only shooting to live so cleaning (supplies) wouldn't be a concern.

Ruger 22/45 with 6.8" barrel for small game, and a 5.5" Redhawk in .357 for everything else.

    OK my turn:pop2:

Pistol: Glock 21 SF in 45 ACP

Revolver: Ruger Super Blackhawk SS 7 1/2 barrel in 44 MAG.

Less guts inside and just nuts and bolts=less can go wrong.
