Had my kimber compact duracoated to look like the cdp model, which ive always wanted but went the cheaper route...LOL Here are a few pics of the grips that i have for them, they both came with the gun when it was blued but I think the vz grips match to well and it doesnt look right...I know you will say whatever makes me happy but i might sell the gun and want to keep a set of the grips....

I think the VZ's look way better and I'm usually a fan of wood.

I have to agree with that duo tone finish.

Not a fan of most non-checkered wood grips. Those VZ grips are
doing nothing for me. A set of VZ Double Diamond in black cherry would kick azz!

I'd go with the VZ's :thumb:

Have to agree; the VZs seem to fit the color scheme better.

Vz's look way better on that one and I like wood grips. I think those wood grips "might" have looked better if the grain of the wood was at the same angle as the grip of the gun.

The VZs look better, but I don't like that they offer no support on the plunger tube.

The VZ's give the gun that... black tie appearance. I like it. Unfortunately as John says, you do lose the plunger tube support with the slims from VZ.

If you really want to know my opinion here is it. Those non-checkered wood grips are not my favorites wood grips, I prefer the checkered ones, but between them and the VZ I like the wood ones more.
