I've got a full railed Springfield TRP that I adore and intend to run supressed.

1. Is this a viable option?

2. What manufacturers offer barrels and, bounus: fitment?

3. Is this recommendable in so far as reliability over a bushing and standard barrel?

Pic for, well... because:

Cheers.

Well, I am currently embarking on a 2011 build & was asking myself the same question. There are few MFGs out there who make a threaded bull barrel for aftermarket sale- however I decided on the Fusion UMG linked here:

You configure the barrel options needed.

Barrel will require hand-fitting, suggest finding a LGS you can develop a relationship with. If there are none in your area, learning to fit a barrel is not rocket science (and Bulls tend to be easier because you are not fitting a bushing).....but will take some practice & guidance.

A couple pics IRL:
