Tomahawk steaks

    Only the second time I cooked them , smoked on treager for 2 hours, cooked on pit barrel cooker for 30 minutes, and perfect steaks came out. IMG_9648.jpg

    Made three for my boys for two birthdays! The third one was just cause he’s a good kid and deserves it! Took some time but they came out great. Slow first seared last. No complaints lol! IMG_3310.jpg

    Those look great!

    I did a behemoth four pounder the other night. Reverse pan seared, my first time with that particular method. We were very happy with the results!

    That’s how I do steaks that size. In the oven at 275 until internal temp reaches 125 then pull it out to rest for about 10min until it gets to 130 then sear each side for just over a minute in a hot cast iron pan. Perfect medium rare every time.
