This is the first time in about a dozen years I got to shoot with Dad. Unfortunately by the time I remembered this gadget in my pocket take pictures, we'd moved to the rifle range. Here he is shooting my National Postal Meter M1 Carbine which pre-dates him by a few years. It's the same gun I brought to Kentucky that quit running. Turned out that the gas piston nut backed out and wouldn't let the bolt fully close. Nice easy fix that cost nothing. Next up is the Colt C.A.R. We also shot his Mini14 and his new Ruger American 9mm. Other guns present today were my Colt Combat Commander, Baer Commanche, my buddy's Savage 99, Kimber Eclipse (formerly mine) Kimber Royal Match, Olympic Arms 6" 1911, M&P 40 and Super Redhawk 454. All guns ran perfectly and the weather was fantastic. Great day all around. Just need to get my boys shooting and have 3 generations there next year.
