Tim, welcome to the forum. I'm pretty fond of the tri-cut slides myself! Good looking pistol you got there.

    Thanks Byobuyo,

The front is a Dawson .090 wide .180 tall and the rear sight is an STI adjustable T.A.S. (I think novak makes them for STI though)

You're welcome man and thank you as well. By the way, that rear sight is made by KFS/Kensite in Atlanta GA. ;-) I know the owner personally...a good guy and makes sights for LOTS of companies. I just put one on a Ruger SR1911 that I got from KFS.

Looks good! Looks like you've a good idea of your own style and function, which is always commendable. :thumb:

I like how the slide serrations go all the way to the rear of the slide, instead of stopping an inch or so short. Little functional touches like that can make or break a good experience with a new gun. How does it shoot?

Thanks DAT85 I appreciate the welcome!

I shot about 200 rounds or so to make sure everything was good and then sent it to Ionbond. As far a accuracy is concerned, I used mixed brass and 200g xtps and 230 golden sabers off of sandbags, and it still wanted to print 5 shot groups right at an inch +or- @ 25yds (if I did my job). That skinny front sight is a little bit of a challenge for me when shooting groups.

Edit to add: I need a ransom rest!
