    They've been around the AR game for a little while. Not much out there on them but those who use them seem to like them.

    You can go with a lot of tried and true 1911s that are probably better for the money

    I don't know much about them. After going through their website, it's still not clear to me what it is that makes their 1911's worth buying. What is it that distinguishes these guys from the other builders?

    Frankly I put these folks in the same boat as BCM. Neither manufacturer any if their own parts (AR’s, no idea on 1911’s) they just assemble using others components. They do however sponsor or have a lot of famous people from the tactical community involved their marketing.

    If I’m buying or building a rifle I opt for components produced/manufactured by the specific companies in that field. Not rebranded, marked up, and sold by third party.

    As far as 1911’s in that price range, I’d rather go to one of the famous/reknown shops rather than the flavor of the week in the tactical community.
