I received my magazine rebuild kits today and they seem to have fixed my issue. Overall I am not sure I really saved any money but at least I did not loose any on trying cheap mags.

Putting the rebuild kits in the Metalform Ultra mags let them keep the 8RD capacity as I assume they would in any of the longer tube mags.

I also received a few of the 7RD mags for a nice flush fit option for carry. Very happy with them as well.

So if you have some cheap mags, I can say these rebuild kits work wonders.

That's a nice fix. Sometime it's not always the gun.

Are you talking about the Super 7 kits? If so, they are pretty much all I use for my carry mags.

Those would be the kits. They still load 8 in those mags I used though.

I did pick up two of the trippresearch 7 rounders as well. Should have got three instead of two.

I NEVER use used mags. They just aren't something I feel comfortable relying on, as I do not keep mags that don't work 100%. And, I do not have "range only" mags..

Anyway -someone gave me 2 mags a few years back. In order to keep them and have them be "ok" in my mind - I just went ahead and got 2 of those tripp rebuild kits. They worked great...

Do you throw them away after you use them once?

USED mags from others. I meant that I do not buy used mags - whenever people throw them up in the various forsale areas. I always buy new mags to start with

I believe the kits are around $7.95 for the spring and follower. I have totally converted to 100% Tripps in full size and Officers.
