I love the Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special, but I can’t shoot a gun with thin grips for Shlt!
So I handled this problem in the past by ordering Full thickness grips from Les Baer. Then I sold my two TRS’s
and you guessed it, The grips were attached to the guns.
Then I bought another TRS and ran into the same problem, and since Les Baer no longer makes the TRS, of course the full sized grips are no longer available. So who wants a TRS with non TRS grips?
Okay... enough with da BS talk.
One day while I was on the phone to Bob @Gripwright, placing a grip order it occurred to me, who better to ask to thicken the stock TRS thin grips then Bob. I asked. He said send them to him and he would give it a shot..
And you guessed it.
Don’t know how he did it,
however a bit of Witchery and skullduggery I guess and pooof!!
Got these in the mail with my other order.
Tonight I installed some Challis full sized grip bushings and wallah!
TRS that fits my hands!
Much thanks to Bob...
You’re the best buddy! @Gripwright for his willingness to go the second mile...
With bad wrists too...
