From my own personal observations, fractured or broken bones on old people usually spell the beginning of the end.

And Justice Ginsburg just fell and broke three of her ribs.

If Prez gets another pick.....the manure will hit the ventilator.....the Left will wet themselves. Mother Theresa could be the nominee and the Left would go crazy.

Don’t wish the old girl any ill will, but it is time for her to go.

Agree and that’s one huuuge difference between the two sides! We want her gone as in retire, the others would want her gone (if she were conservative) but as in dead!

My comment was stated as just a matter of a fact. Through a long period of general observations about these things. People in their 80s who fall and experience some kind significant broken bone issue, typically don’t make it long term. I’ve seen it happen time and again (usually with a broken leg or hip). As my father aged into his eighties, we had that discussion {lecture} several times: about not falling and breaking something. Fortunately, he never did and lived until age 96! We’ll see how this plays out...

I've been around geriatric people who display the same characteristics of RBG. They are retired and chilling in a retirement home - they are also well into their eighties. She won't retire because she wants to wait till a socialist is back in the White House. Six years and three months (or longer) is a long long time for the old girl. She is half checked out right now. Lotsa daytime and worktime nappies (ZZZZZZs).

This country couldn't survive another nomination hearing, the left would fall in a corner and **** themselves.

Dallas, your assessment was right on....broken ribs, hips, anything along those lines tend not to end well. An exception, like your father, was my M-I-L who broke her hip her late 80’s....it healed and walked perfectly. Of course she had a direct line to the Guy above and lived into her mid 90’s.

I just lost my 88 year old father a few months ago so I don't wish her any bad will, but I do think she should retire. I have some leftist friends in the GYM this morning that just about flipped out when the news alert came on FOX News.

My Mom is pushing 87 and I really don't think a person with some of the issues of RBG can REALLY handle the rigors of being a SC Justice based on my personal observations of my older family members. I just don't see it. Not to mention she is having some real physical problems right now. These falls are not little things.

SCOTUS Justices appointed for life. Not a chance in hell this lady retires before she dies, especially with a Republican in the WH and in control of the Senate. She would more lilkely pull a McCain and lay in her bed rather than retire.

I sure don't care for RBG's politics but as a firm believer in karma I don't wish her any ill will. There are definitely exceptions with the elderly though. I have a 93 year old aunt who just recovered from a broken femur in less than 4 months and she's sharp as a tack. Bless her heart! It wouldn't hurt my feelings though if RBG retired. The sooner the better!

Wouldn’t matter, the selection process is in the Senate.....which the Republicans control and has gained seats. The House Libs can watch the proceedings in the Senate and cry all they want....and can’t do a thing about it.

This woman fell and broke ribs on two separate occasions a few years back. Then she had a stent put in her heart. Then she survived colon cancer. Then friggin' pancreatic cancer! I'm not convinced she's mortal. But barring death, this is one person who isn't retiring -at least not under a republican president.

I'd love to see President Trump to get another pick right now . If it's within a year of 2020 dems will remember the Biden rule and shut it down with endless protests , demonstrations , and slander any candidate put forward . Of course these shenanigans , like they did to Kavanaugh , could motivate people to vote republican in 2020 .
