...or, a firing range - ha! Took a Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special and Concept VI to the line recently along with a Gen4 Glock 26. Put 100, 250, and 160 trouble-free rounds through them, respectively, focusing on 7- and 10-yard Mozambique drills. I leaned a little more on the Concept VI as it’s seen two previous recent range trips sans a cleansing...now around 500 or so rounds since last cleaning. I just wanted to see how it would do - and it did darn well. I’ll probably go ahead and formally make it sparkly again...probably. 1911s are my favorite but I like that G26 a lot, too - to me, it just shoots better than a gun that size “should.” Targets shown are a 10-yarder / 100-rounder for the Concept VI, 7-yarder / 50-rounder for the TRS, and 7 yards / 100 rounds for the G26. Still working on fundamentals here and looking to broaden my formal training soon.
