I like the megadot. I have one being put on a commander now. Thinking about having one put on a Govt that I’ll pick up Monday. I’m looking up the Fusion.

It’s a 2003 70 series repro with some work done by Jim Garthwaite.

I like the French bordello lines. Classy & understated.

Actually I am liking it even more with a couple improvements I’ve done recently. Jim’s work did not include fitting a barrel and the stock Colt barrel was riding the link pretty bad and the bushing was a little loose. I had a Colt barrel that actually fit real good and I put an EGW bushing and slide stop in it. I’m really liking it now more than ever.

I consider him a friend and I think he’d say the same about me. But I honestly don’t know if he’s taking work or not. He’s very careful about his email or phone number getting out.

My first Colt but not my last. This is how it looks for now, but not for long.

Currently talking with Steve O. about it. Looking like it will be going under his blade.
Top of slide serrations, french border, new sights, 25lpi, dehorning all over, new internals, DLC, blended magwell, custom grips with delta medallion embedded. Thinking about a black and gold theme. Maybe gold inlays in the slide roll marks, gold barrel. These are some of the things I'm considering. Might be less or might be more, depends.
