Makes me smile
Recent pic of the 625-6 MG wearing Culinas, riding in its Barranti Summer Classic, with two moon clips in the pouches by Jeffrey Custom Leather at the ready. Target from recent range outing also shown; 7 yards, 2- and 3-shot strings all from the leather shown.
I believe the exhaust fans at the range went into unexpected overdrive at one point during the range session; hence that one strike waaaaaay off to the right. Yeah. That’s gotta be it. The exhaust fans. Not the shooter. No way. (LOL)
The 625 loves every piece of ammo I’ve put through it, including Super Vel “Flying Ashtray” +P JHP. The Ed Brown shown also enjoyed some Super Vel action.
Beautiful, and glad to hear it! Wheelguns aren’t picky eaters...
So true! That does relieve a good bit of my OCD / mental angst / etc. that I often feel regarding what I’m going to carry in a semi-auto. Granted, I’ll test both wheelguns and semis with a prospective carry-ammo before actually carrying it, but I worry much less over the issue with a revolver.
Here I was, all set to carry a semi today...now I’m getting that “revolver itch” anew haha...
Correct, I feed my ACP revolvers a diet of SAECO 453, a 240 grain wadcutter. Over 5 grains of Bullseye it duplicates hardball. At 900 fps that bullet hits hard.
