No kidding. D-town is no joke. I don't think you have nearly enough firepower. You need an AR or shotty leaning against the table.

During the day I'm working at a children's hospital, so it stays locked in the vault in the car. Commuting to and from the hotel, yes. It's condition 1.

    HA! Try FLINT!! haha

Seriously though... Michigan cities aint no joke these days.... the two gas stations close to my house (within rifle shot) get hit regularly. 2-3 times a month.

Well... Here at The DoubleTree, I think I'm reasonably alright. But as I said, I'm C1 as I'm walking out the door.

Incidentally, as I'm sitting here watching the 11 p.m. news, an off duty officer an his girlfriend were shot after someone in a restaurant fired several shots from INSIDE the restaurant.

Oh, yeah, this happened 4 blocks from where I'm staying. So I take back what I said before.

    Damn, sorry to hear that.

You never know... gives good meaning to the phrase "prepare for the worst, pray for the best."

True in the Motor City and everywhere: If you look like food, you will be eaten... Be prepared, be ready and keep your nose clean. Condition 1 doesn't hurt either.
