I’ve been in CT for 20 years now and have seen it get less and less gun friendly. I have lived all over the country and seen a lot of differences. The best gun states were TX and CO, the least friendly was CA. VA was somewhere in the middle. MA was worse than CT. Granted this was 20 to 40 years ago, but I can’t imagine anywhere has gotten better.

For shopping things did improve once Cabela’s opened in East Hartford. I know they are high priced in much of the country but here they were actually cheaper than some of the competition and had a very broad selection. I picked up a couple of guns there, ammo prices were always hit or miss.

If it wasn’t for the politics and taxes in CT we would probably stay here after retirement.
