I don’t currently have any Sigs in my safe and saw LGS had this up for sale this morning. Also had a 20% off used gun sale. Snagged it for $460. Looks to be barely used going by the lack of finish wear. Hopefully it’s as good of a shooter as I’m reading they are. I think I did pretty good on the price. Comes with 1 mag, no box.

That's a good deal for that pistol. I paid close to that for mine back in 2010 IIRC. Most Sigs are a lot more. Based on S/N, early 1990's. Original Sig zipperback magazines are still relatively affordable and easy to find. Like most European 9mms, they generally shoot better / more accurate with 124 grain than 115 grain, since the sights are generally factory set for that. Good luck.

Thanks @oldnrusty38

That is an absurdly good price on that gun. It will run great. You'll find the german sigs have better slide/frame fit and no barrel drop. Sights, grips, trigger components are all compatible from current 226's.

the only thing to watch for is the integrity of the internal extractor. They are difficult to find. I really like the Frank Proctor Y Notch sights on mine.

I'll post a pic of mine later.

enjoy it!!!

Thanks for the info! I’ll have to be on the lookout for an extractor and snatch one up if I ever find one.

Can’t wait to get some rounds through it.

KA W German,

Legion controls, g10 grips, Frank Proctor Y Notch sights, w/ Total Automation action tune, feed/reliability, solid steel guiderod, high torque QTR trigger w/ 1911 single action mod, and tool steel extractor.

without a doubt my favorite 9mm "slick" carry.

That is a fantastic deal! Congrats on a great find.

I really, really love old school P series Sigs. I owned a bunch of them for years. In spite of my absolute loathing of Sig today I'm still temped by a 226 Legion. I shot a demo at the range a few years back and put 3 mags all through a hole the size of a golf ball at 10 yards. That pistol is truly a laser pistol for my smaller hands, go figure.
