Hi y’all...

I’m kinda curious what y’all think. I’ve recently built my standard gov’t two-tone gun that I had serialized my #1. So this is the heirloom piece. Right now the sights are simple with a Novak black and fiber front.

I’m considering swapping out the front sight in consideration that this is The Heirloom. Which front sight would you go with?

1. A fiber optic: leave it as is
2. A gold dot
3. A gold vertical line / Ted Yost front sight
4. A Novak night sight with a white or orange ring around the fiber
5. Plain black
6. A draft pick you suggest

I like FO on guns I shoot regularly I just pick them up better but if I was dropping the coin on an Heirloom I would probably opt for #3 as well. It's a really attractive front sight but I've never shot a gun that had one. My .02

Number 3. Have 4 installed and 3 more to install.

Great question. I believe all guns, like athletes, need exercise! It’s going to be used and already has about 1,000 rounds through it.

Thanks, rmac, I like the way that looks. It’s likely going to be the way I go.

Plus, this will go on a blued slide (when all said and done). Having seen those on the forums it looks really sweet.
