Guardian in .45 ACP mostly.

Changed the thumb safety to a Wilson and mainspring housing to an Ed Brown snakeskin.

Photo below still has the original blocky thumb safeties.

One of the best values out there IMO. It was my first 38Super since I've added another 38S.

PMC in .38 Superb. TT Gunleather or Jason Winnie OWB holster. Only upgrade on the gun is a flat trigger and VZ grips.

How much fitting did you have to do on the main spring housing ?

Zero. What you see is how they slid in.

There is a caveat however.

DW changed their bobtail profile mid 2018 to where the Ed Brown mainspring housings don't work any longer. If contemplating a DW Guardian, make sure it is dated 2017 or earlier for compatibility with EB MSH's.

I've also changed out the grips to VZ slims.

DW See Bob. Either in a Kramer, a couple of Warbirds, or a Vedder Litetuck. It's been a my most shot carry gun/primary fun class gat since Steve @Integrity Arms got done with it. Not really a DW anymore though.

Guardian 38 Super in AIWB kydex or Warbird leather. I swapped the rear sight for the version that comes on the Valor and Valkyrie. Just traded for a Valkyrie Commander 9mm/38S, so that’s the new DW hotness for me.

I love DW's. I think they are absolutely the best value for your money not only in 1911's but in most all guns. The quality & shoot-ability you get for the money is incredible.

i know. Dont own a 1911 yet and ima purchase one for my self on my birthday on july 5th and the guardian and the ECP are the ones im looking at

Excellent choices! I have a Guardian in 38 super and just love it. Also a ECP, TCP, Valor, and stupidly sold both of my Valkyrie's.

Someone at the classifieds has my ex Valkyrie 9mm with full length grips back up for sale and to me, Valkyrie's were one of DW's best!
