As a newbie revolver collector and shooter, I must recommend a certain additional self preservation technique. This is of course in addition to the gun safety commandments which I bow to the experts from the Addicts forum.
My recommendation is to never shoot all of your revolvers the same day. This will result in tennis elbow, hand spasms, sore neck from craning over the work bench, dislike in coconut oil, overuse of naproxen and or alcohol, and finally result in disgust of revolvers and any so called magic cloth.
Here are some before and after revolver pics:

I cleaned this Springfield stainless mil-spec today. It actually didn’t need it, I was just bored.

Not that I'm bored, but I washed my shop rags, cleared out and vacuumed out the back of my Jeep Wrangler. I cleaned the bottom of my hot water heater using the drain valve and got all the sediment out. I detail cleaned my two Dillon XL650s, and my wife's AR-15. I also washed out my garbage can, the big one that gets emptied every week. I guess that's about it. I'm looking forward to what I can do tomorrow.

My son & I deep cleaned his car inside & outside, still a piece of crap. Then I cleaned out the contents of a bottle of grape juice, finished off a bag of shelled peanuts and don't feel all that great, but I'll get over it. Planning a swell adventure tomorrow.

In order to stay away from auction sites, I waxed my car twice on Monday. However, that didn't do the trick. I visited GB anyway, and bought a stainless Les Baer 1911. A couple of hours later I saw a PPK/S at a great price, so I bought that also. When the PPK arrived, I cleaned & lubed the gun. Now I have to find a range that's open and fire the gun. Maybe I'll wax the car again tomorrow:bang:

Are you supposed to clean revolvers.
Thought wiping the powder residue off the outside was more than enough
