Checked zero on a truck gun (rides in security vault) for first time in 2 years. Felt it was prudent.
Held zero, no issues. <1.5”/5 rds benched. More than adequate for purpose.

BCM 14.5” P/W, ADM QD Mount, Steiner 1-4x, 64 gr. G.D.
This speaks well for the parts.

At my dads property today. Cleared some trees. Made time for 2 mags through the SACS Colt. Took out some cactus. Smooth shooter. Brought a buddy from work who has never shot a 1911. He just smiled.

Beautiful place! Clearing cactus is way better than clearing cedar! Only because the only thing I’m allergic to is cedar....

You’re poor buddy might just find his wallet empty after spoiling him with that beauty! If he’s a gun guy, I imagine that experience is going to linger and fester in the back of his mind until he spends some money on his own 1911(s), haha.

He was asking me about them. I told him to get about $1000-$1300 and I can find him a good 1911.

My buddy @Derek morgan came along to help me clear some Cedar. Brought his 9 year old son DJ. DJ shot a Glock 48 and his 22. He did really good.

Did not get a picture while at the property. I did a range find for 50 yards and hit a 16oz water bottle on my 8th round. This gun is incredibly accurate.

Finished off some old handloads today. All run through my stinger. Going to be my primary carry for the foreseeable future.

100 rounds through the Novak’s. Very accurate pistol even with my shaky hands. Had mucho cervezas last night. Best group I could get at 25 yards.
