I agree. I belong to two outdoor ranges, and dread going to indoor ranges.

The groups were fired off hand at 10 yards with the Ruger. The ammo is 2008 vintage Walmart bulk pack. The gun does better with CCI Standard.

I forgot to take pics of the HK VP40 groups. They averaged around 1.75”. I’m not use to the gun yet. For a striker gun the trigger is nice, but after shooting the Ruger I was muscling it. Groups reflected that.

After I settled in, and focused on trigger control / sight picture the groups started closing up.

Yesterday started with 4" of snow on the ground and ended at 55F and no snow! Today's range trip ...
