Went to my indoor range yesterday with the Wilson EDC X9L and the Sig P320 MAX. They had a Smith and Wesson carry gun demo going on - M&P9 2.0 4" (Compact?), Shield EZ and a Shield Plus, 5 free shots each at 7 yds. I have a M&P9 2.0 3.6" (Sub-compact) so surprised I didn't shoot the 4" better. The EZ sights were definitely off - took 2 shots just to find where to aim! And surprised how well I shot the Shield Plus. I SUCKED WIND with both of my own pistolas!

Surprisingly, I had the range all to myself for most of the time yesterday. Just 2 ROs sitting there looking bored stiff! I hadn't shot these 2 in a while. The Sig 320MAX I use to shoot steel so I should have done better, but haven't shot it since November. Obviously in need of some dry fire work this winter! The trigger isn't baaaaad but this one is going out for work next week. The Shadow 2 Orange I haven't shot in over a year. It fits my hand better and definitely has a better trigger. Hope the Sig Guy works some magic on the 320 trigger.

Dug out of the snow on Thursday but got to the range on Friday. My new DW Guardian and my CZ Shadow 2 Orange. Only 150 rounds through the DWG so far. Intermittent slide lock back issues with DW and Wilson mags but I figure that will smooth out with more rounds. The CZ has been lights out since I sent the first lead out of the barrel!

We didn't want to waste time so we just packed down the snow and threw out the tarp to catch brass. Don't usually get a couple days like that to shoot in February.Was there more shoveling involved? lol
