Model 57 target, 12 rds at 7yds. My first go 'round with the .41 Magnum and I can certainly see the attraction

Yesterday I shot the shat...

Now, I know some of you non believers may not see the benefit of being proficient in shooting shat. However, there are many benefits involved.

It engages the mind, lowers the blood pressure, and also it burns calories. Now, being around like minded people while shooting the shat, actually keeps you on your toes. Sometimes you have to be pretty quick on the draw. Every now and then, you have to quick draw on some bullshat, ya just can’t let bullshat ride..... :p

With deer season a couple weeks out, I figured I’d work up a load with Hornady 100 gr BTSP. Groups well enough for deer, and I’ve got 86 bullets left over :) This shot at 160 yards. Seated out from Hornady’s recommended COAL. 43.5 gr was slightly compressed. Boatail is just below the neck shoulder junction. I might tweak it more after the season…

Haven’t owned a Sig in a decade or so… did have a MK25 at one point. Saw this unfired one from 2014 just begging to be shot. Figured I ought to….

I have figured out that Winchester Silver Tip HP at 1250 shoots point of aim, as does some older WWB. New WWB and Blazer do not. They are 100ish FPS slower and trend left.

26 rounds at 11 yds. Blazer 115s

Picked up an FNH Patrol rifle Thursday. Took it for a spin Saturday and decided I had too much scope. Dug out my old Swarovski ZFM 6x42, and gave it a whirl. Haven’t shot this scope in probably 15-16 years. Two sighters and the last three. Time for a bit of load development…..
