I neglected the P365 for a long time... took it out and shot 160 rounds today. Found some 15 round mags at the store too!

Got some range time today.. after shooting the Vbob a few times, I think I would enjoy it more if it was a 9mm. The Concept IV was a pleasure to shoot, with a few hangups. It's still not fully broken in yet.

I shot these two yesterday when I had a 30 minute window. The Baer ate a box full without a hiccup, I had to play with the extractor tension a few sessions now, it is now tuned correctly I think. I’ll run a few more to verify that.

The PPK also ran with no trouble, shot 78 rounds total. 40 round ball, 26 flat nose, and 12 Hornady’s FTX.

It was my first time shooting a PPK, I would shoot more but my thumb knuckle blistered. I’m actually surprised there were no jams, I read so much on the Smith and Wesson PPKs and expected some failures. Guess I got a good one. I also just sent the slide to Walther to replace the chipped rear sight. Free of charge!

Ran the UTC today

Dumbest range rule I’ve heard of…sorry you were confronted with that….”hey bad guy, wait! I can only shoot 1 round per second!”🙄…..

2nd dumbest is at my range…no drawing a loaded gun from holster…you should see our Monday night USPSA shoots…start gun UNLOADED in holster, mags on belt…on buzzer draw unloaded gun, load, then engage….can’t wait to hear the first person who is concealed and has to draw in self-defense and they try that…

This makes me feel like my range is the bee’s knees. They allow fast shooting and holster draws as long as you’re safe.

Today’s range day had the usual LB UTC, and the P365. I also rented the Staccato P for the giggles.

Today I pushed all the targets out to 15 yards, while shooting the little guys at 7.

Still getting used to the Sig’s trigger. When I do get a good press, I got the little guys at 7 yards

Staccato was a nice shooter, grip’s too fat for my hands, and something was rubbing into my thumb.

Finally got some time to run to the range. It was my first time shooting the ACW 9mm.

First target 10 yards

7 yard Moz' drill

Shot the right circle first, made some sight picture adjustments for the left.

Took the UTC and ACW out. Fed 100rds through each.

Did the January Drill

Did a little Mozambique drills with the UTC, and tried some one handed shooting with the small guy on the right. Kinda failed.

Took the UTC for another outing, the saga of shooting left continues!

Back out with my UTC, did the usual holster practice and popping off doubles on the main target. I took a little more time on the little guys, and focused more on my trigger finger. I think I'll be a blast at hostage situations.

9mm day today. Saw the Artemis in the rental case and decided to take it for a run. Other than it being dry, it was pretty awesome to shoot.

Took out the Prime Nine and P365
