I shot these two yesterday when I had a 30 minute window. The Baer ate a box full without a hiccup, I had to play with the extractor tension a few sessions now, it is now tuned correctly I think. I’ll run a few more to verify that.
The PPK also ran with no trouble, shot 78 rounds total. 40 round ball, 26 flat nose, and 12 Hornady’s FTX.
It was my first time shooting a PPK, I would shoot more but my thumb knuckle blistered. I’m actually surprised there were no jams, I read so much on the Smith and Wesson PPKs and expected some failures. Guess I got a good one. I also just sent the slide to Walther to replace the chipped rear sight. Free of charge!
