230 rounds through the
AR9, 75 or so through the Kimber Custom
2 9mm. Kimber was as usual… finicky depending on mag and ammo but more accurate than me or any other pistol I own when she got her rhythm. Good hits at 25 yards all day long.

AR is an FM9 16 inch upper on PSA lower with a stern defense mag block that has taken me awhile to get running reliably on Glock mags. Started on Endomags, then broke a Sylvan arms mag block ejector, then replaced it with a Stern Mag Ad 9.

This trip went well til the last 33 round OEM Glock mag out of 7 mags of assorted brands. Then after running through Promags (YES PROMAGS), Pmags and other OEM glock mags I started repeatedly getting FTe with a round and an empty case trapped in the chamber on this one magazine. Snatched up 100 more rounds of 115 grain from the front desk that ran through it without failure so I think based on checking my garbage bin at home some slower 147 grain not hot enough to cycle the bolt made it into that one Glock mag.

Overall I’m taking the W and consider myself to now have a reliable Glock fed Franken AR9 off a multi cal lower that I can repurpose for any other need and which also can run on any other lower in my safe.

No photos unfortunately, but I ran my new to me Dan Wesson CCO, and put some rounds down range with my Ed Brown SF. The Dan Wesson ran like a top, and I see what the fuss is all about with light weight carry guns. It’s cleaned and on my hip now. My new to me Guardian is on the way to my FFL. Can’t wait to try a bobtail finally!

Today I shot my Silverback, valor 9mm commander with bull barrel and Ed Brown Kc9
Buddy at the range had this DW with him - 357 supermag , I have never seen this caliber before a 357 mag on steroids very cool gun bluing was beautiful . He had a Colt snake gun with him (70s not newer one) and we compared the bluing - Colt a smidge nicer but both wheelguns were awesome ! I also fired a ruger stainless 45 acp - shot an amazing group (for me ) with the handloaded semi wadcutters he had and started to shoot another one hole group when I began to jerk the trigger low left , first two shots were one hole then group opened up to two inches 😒 still pretty happy for the first time I ever shot the Ruger and I was impressed with its potential given the price .

Put 50 rounds through my Colt Series 80 Stainless 38 Super, after getting the barrel back from pistolwrench. Functioned perfectly. Ran another 100 rounds through my Dan Wesson V-Bob 9mm Stainless. It's always a pleasure to shoot. No target pictures today. Accuracy was acceptable considering my shaky hands from a missed medication dose last night. Totally my bad.

Initial impressions :
Accurate (more so than I am )
Very little felt recoil as to be expected from a steel frame pistol
Eagle claw frame cuts and slide cuts are actually awesome wasn’t sure if I would like them but after handling them I do indeed like em
Previous owner changed the grips out to the olive ones on it now - I like a thumb scoop an since the pistol already has the extended mag release reloads are easy . I paid around $2k it came with four Wilson mags two sets of grips and a bunch of other small things. For that price it is a home run . I ordered a commander in full stainless and paid $3k for it with tax and shipping and I am now pleased. It won’t be here for a while . The gun ran flawlessly . I just need to gets used to where it prints and we will be getting along nicely . Trigger was nice and all components oozed quality - fitment of grip safety etc
Has smaller controls as it is a compact geared toward carry but other than that it is a home run
Well done Wilson ! This thing ate everything I threw at it .
I think I might like it as much as my sentinel compact . Perhaps will try CCP division in IDPA next year with it .
I think I am going to go order a full size in 9mm right now so I can have the trio !

Made it back to the range today. Totally forgot to replace my 38 Super barrel and magazine with the 9mm barrel and magazine that I received with the Colt Stainless Series 80 38 Super.
The 9mm setup functioned without any FTF or extraction issues. It ran 150 rounds of various brands and weights of 9mm ammunition. The Federal 124gr FMJ gave me the best results. I've always wanted a dual caliber 38 Super/9mm. Now I have one that works and is a pleasure to shoot.
