Steel at the club yesterday. Gotta' be tough in Michigan!

When I went thru my targets yesterday I discovered that the Discretion hasn't been fired in 15 months.
Had to rectify that.
A little 52-2 target practice and re-sighting of the 715 with the change back to the 8" barrel, which is the funnest combo to shoot of them all.

Quickie this morning. This one hasn't been shot at all this year. I have a few more that have been overlooked this year that I hope to get out before '22.

Shoot my Bob Marvel.

Shot My AR10 I pieced together a few years ago. Aeroprecision M5 .308 with a Wilson Combat Fluted Super Sniper 18" barrel and a Geissele SSAE trigger. I also shot my Christensen Arms Traverse chambered in .308

Playing around with different manufactured loads. The best group for both them was 168 grain Hornady Precision Hunter. Funny thing is the AR grouped better than the Christensen.

In short the best accolade I can give it would be I now have an ACP commander in stainless on order.
I am very impressed with the quality of the package for dollar spent. I plan to get a Gov size as well .
$2900 for the full stainless commander in 9mm including tax and shipping that seemed like a heck of a deal to me .
the compact has been flawless the only nitpick I have is I prefer a flush cut slide stop pin but that is a personal preference and I changed out my slidestop for a Nighthawk version because I wanted a larger ledge and I happened to have one on hand .
Accuracy with my particular model is exceptional for a 4” barrel . Once I found where it was hitting today it blew out the center and that was shooting as soon as the sights would almost settle so pretty quickly not slowfire . I highly recommend this model however I do love my NH counselor and I have been perusing the NH site and they added a couple of new models such as the Warhawk compact - that one will be getting ordered next month to compliment my Costa CCO

This commander was very tight. Put 742 rounds through it from when I picked it up yesterday and today. Target was the last 28 rounds i fired through the commander. The 586 is also incredibly accurate.
