Ruger target, 50rds at 7yds. The low shots were the first ones. The rest were after I made my self slow down and focus

Model 57 target, 12 rds at 7yds. My first go 'round with the .41 Magnum and I can certainly see the attraction

Shot a bunch of guns today as some friends came over with their assorted safari rifles. A couple of 404 Jeffrey's, a 416 Ruger and a 470NE. Good times.

On the pistol side, I shot my wonderful GSP clone from Don at The Action Works. The gun just shoots really well and is incredibly smooth. I need to take some more pics...

Shot my ACW Quantico and Prime Elite, my Emissary, Langdon G45, and police trade in G21. Mostly shot steel, but did do a couple drills of starting arm’s length from the target, drawing and shooting two shots from the hip, then backing away while extending arms, achieving a two hand grip, and firing off the remaining rounds as quickly as possible. This was the result of my run with my Prime Elite.

Shot the Model 52-2 and the Prime Elite. It was too hot and muggy in the range to shoot any more.

Picked up an FNH Patrol rifle Thursday. Took it for a spin Saturday and decided I had too much scope. Dug out my old Swarovski ZFM 6x42, and gave it a whirl. Haven’t shot this scope in probably 15-16 years. Two sighters and the last three. Time for a bit of load development…..

Received new TruGlo TFO sights for the G20 last Friday. I installed them Sunday and found time to zero them in this afternoon. 35 rounds of 180 gr HAPs @ 1200 fps from 25 yards, off of the sandbag, with some tweaking mixed in. 15 more rounds Weaver stance after achieving zero. That was all for the day.

At least there's one piece of steel in there so it wasn't a totally wasted day! :p What's worse is I only shot a plastic .22 pistol yesterday. :(

New range beater. PSA classic freedom upper with drop in MOE handguard and Magpul folding rear sight on a Ballistic Advantage lower I already had. Also an old cheap PA optic I had in my bin. Got a rough zero on the irons and optic and then put some rounds through it at the 25 yard range. Lots of problems the first mag or 2 then once I figured out while zero-ing the gun doesn’t like to be rested on the magazine it ran like a scalded dog.

How do you like it ? My LGS has one and I have been thinking about it
Shot my Alchemy Prime Elite & Nighthawk ShadowHawk. Both in .45… Shot a little over 200 rounds, 100-185 JHP & 100 Plus of 230 Ball.
Practiced speed reloads which was fun. I’m definitely more High drag low speed.

No brainer. Go get it. I have had 7 or 8 CZs and two Anschutz sporters. First time out with this VPT I shot my best 5 shot group at 50 yds. .385" OD. Guys on rimfire central hold the VPT in high regard. Below is the target from the first outing. For a point of reference a dime will fit inside that inner ring. I believe the rifle is spot on, the trigger man needs some work!

I had a CZ 455 in a Manners stock that was bedded with pillars and had a 10x50 Sightron scope and I could shoot toothpicks and playing cards edge on at 25 yards with ease. It was a fun gun to shoot and most days I could put the bullets in the same hole at 25 yards. So I agree get one…the one I had liked Wolf 22 ammo best.

I'll try and find some Wolf. Don't have any in my inventory.
