Model 57 target, 12 rds at 7yds. My first go 'round with the .41 Magnum and I can certainly see the attraction

shot these yesterday all at 7yds. The target on the floor that fell off was the first shots out of the Sig P365 Macro. The upper left hand target. All iron sights I haven’t zeroed the red dots yet

Yesterday, the plastic framed auto shooters gawked at me for the first hundred rounds, then resumed sending their puny bullets as fast as they could down range :)

Ruger Blackhawk, Cimarron Texas Ranger, and Ruger old model Vaquero birdshead (Ala Kill Bill) all in .45 Colt.

Very nice! One of my most prized firearms is my Ruger old model Birdshead Vaquero .45 LC.
My oldest Son gave it to me for my birthday 10 1/2 years ago. I still haven't fired it.

Do you wanna trade sons??? :)

I got mine last week and shot it yesterday for the first time. I think large hands may not like the grip but it fit me perfectly. I load sedately for the Cimarron SAA Clone but these loads are no different feeling in the birdshead compared to the larger blackhawk.

Be sure to post your experiences here when you get to shoot it.

PS, the prices on these have gone nutso recently.

More practice with the 686 competitor today at 10 then 20 yards. Trying to get up to speed so I can do some bullseye shooting with it. The gun shoots lights out when I do my part.

Thursday. Hadn't touched the Ronin in 5 weeks. Nice day in the 70s. Started at 15 with single draws, to double taps, to Mozambique to church drills, then add target transitions. 150 rounds.

This is a favorite (maybe 'the') that I shoot, even tho long range sessions the truncated beavertail starts to make the web of my hand sore. But it is always worth it!!!

And the always nice to shoot S&W 52-2, still trying out the Precision Delta ammo. Hopefully I will start 'rolling' my own here shortly.

Put 100 rounds through my EDC X9L this past weekend, the center of the target was some slow shooting and some just as fast as I could get the front sight on target but with this gun it really doesn’t matter if I’m shooting fast or slow, it’s simply an amazing gun to shoot.

9mm day today. Saw the Artemis in the rental case and decided to take it for a run. Other than it being dry, it was pretty awesome to shoot.
