What did you shoot today?

I shot the Staccato C today. 150 rounds of 115 Gr. FMJ. Running smooth - only minor issue was a couple of time the slide didn’t lock open on an empty mag.

The wife put about 100 rounds through her M&P Shield .380ez. She’s really starting to like shooting. Proud of her!

Went to our usual indoor range and it was really crowded today with new shooters. The range had extra RSO’s out today and Safety was good.

Yesterday, Shadow 2, USPSA - high production. :happy:

Today, Les Baer P2 9mm, Steel Challenge - results pending.

Yesterday Shadow 2 and Les Baer P2 .45 (practice), today 9mm Dan Wesson Valor USPSA. I should have shot major instead.

Today I shot my Dan Wesson Valor. As with my previous outing, I just put up an IDPA practice target at 25 yards, and practiced hitting the A zone and head box. I also tested the Valor with 8 and 10 round CMC Power Mags. Ammo was Remington UMC (230 grain).

The Valor ran perfectly with the CMC Power Mags.

In regards to performance, I'm more accurate with my Les Baer Custom Carry. Part of the problem with my Valor, I think, is that the front sight post is a little fatter than the front sight post on my Les Baer. In fact, the front sight on my Valor completely obscures the head box of an IDPA target at 25 yards. This makes it difficult to get a good sight picture. I don't have this problem with my Les Baer.

well it was either, frame it or shoot it... I chose the latter and it was worth it!
