About 250 rounds through my Vigil @ 10 yards
Happy to report ran everything from 115 to 147 grain with a little oil on the hood and rails with only 2 last round hold open failures. You guys shoot better than me....had to give her a wipedown before taking pics but still waiting on my Amazon order of FP10 to arrive to give her a proper cleaning.

I scooped up an unfired NIB, German P226 X5 Short & Smart last week. Very nice gun, seems well made, solid (read heavy) with an adjustable "L1" trigger at 2# 5oz. I shot 155rnds of 147gr FMJ at 25'. No malfunctions whatsoever.
(note on target pic, upper left shoulder sticky was my buddy Rod shooting)
I'll post more as I get used to it.

I took the GI NN out today, and got to shoot some moving target drills.

A couple weeks ago I joined a new range. Unlike my old range, this one allows drawing from a holster and has a tactical bay. Every evening during the week they host a 1 hour live fire class in the tactical bay on some aspect of defensive shooting. Today's topic was moving targets. I was the only one that showed up, so I got a one on one lesson. I actually learned a quite a bit.

This new range is double the cost of the other ranges. But, I actually get to go beyond basic marksmanship and practice defensive shooting.

As you might have guessed, the GI ran beautifully.

B81 that is great to be able to practice like that. There is only one club around me that I know of that has action pistol and rifle shoots. First Sunday every month and you can participate even if you are not a member, just costs $10 more. Every month it is different, there are 5 bays with different scenarios. Its a lot of fun, but usually I have other stuff to do more often than not.
