Some Tactical shooting ...with the attached Course of Fire. Used my carry gun....5" Wilson Protector model in 9mm. Shot the ICE qual target....100 rds, max score 100.
Each shot fired on a stage over Par time is (-1), center chest area is (-0), next outline is (-1), (-2) for rest of silhouette, (-3) if you miss silhouette but hit paper, (-5) if you miss paper.
Shots to face in COF...the rest of the head is (-1)....
For stages shooting center chest ...face is (-1) & rest of head is (-2) like shoulders, etc...
97 out of 100 1st time thru...( missed 2 shots to face on stage 7 up into head / had 1 shot overtime on station 12 by 0.2 sec...trying to be too careful.
2nd time thru ...I ran 100%. It always feels good to run a COF clean...( even for an old guy at 69, with bad eyes...)...

Picked up this STI Tactical 4.0 on Friday, and got to bust some caps this afternoon in lovely heat index of 104 degrees and over 80% humidity. Didn't care. Had a great time and put 325 rounds through this excellent shooting pistol. The steel targets were plenty hot to the touch when I was packing out, but hey...small price to pay! 'Merica!

I shot my first acquired .45 from 11 years ago. Para Ord. P12-45 (Canadian made) to try out a couple of .45 light loads (recipe complements of @DukeSoprano )
I shot Mrs. C's "Groot & Pam" with lighter recoil spring to handle her light .38 sup. loads
and the newest build "Lefty" also .38 sup.
