It was a good morning for shootin'.
I’ve got a DVC Carry HOST and a Trijicon RMR type 2 on the way from Jess at The Wichita Gun Club. Looking forward to getting it on the range! :happy:Yesterday I went to a LGS that had Walther and STI reps there with guns to shoot. Unfortunately I got so wound up I didn’t take any pics. Shot the Walther Steel Frame Q5 and really liked it. If I was going to be a mainly striker type guy I would get one - already have a PPS and PPQ for carry.
Main reason I went was to look at the STIs. Shot the DVC-C and the Staccato-P. Both were really nice and I liked the feel of the 2011 frame. I brought along my Dan Wesson PM9 with a red dot to compare these guns to - I shoot the DW incredibly well. Reinforced my love for my DW. But, if you want more capacity in a 1911 package then an STI is an excellent choice. Finished up by shooting the compensated DVC-P. Holy cow, that gun is amazing! Almost no muzzle rise - you pull the trigger, it goes bang, and the front fiber optic sight is just sitting there on target ready to go again! I shot it almost as well as my optic equipped gun that I’m familiar with. And the DVC-P is milled for optics. Only downside is the price, $3,999. Don’t know if I need one that bad.

That’s what I’m thinking! I’ll know for sure real soon. :happy:pcso,
That should be a fantastic combination for carrying!

I’m a huge fan of zero bullets too for accuracy and consistencySW CQB 45
I buy them from Zero MFG. (Roze Distributing) so I don't have the specs on them. It is a nice shooting round for me, accurate, low recoil. I think they told me once they have it at 750 fps. It is a Zero swaged SWC.

I have used them and they are very consistent compared to cast. When I use up my cast.... I will reorder from Zero.I’m a huge fan of zero bullets too for accuracy and consistency
